During process of editing which has borrowed about two years, the International chamber of commerce has tried to involve the broad audience of workers of the world trade presented by various sectors in national committees via which the International chamber of commerce works, To the statement of the sights and responses to the subsequent projects. Really it was pleasant to see, that this process of editing has caused much more responses from users all over the world, than any of previous editions Incoterms.

Result of this dialogue were Incoterms 2000 in which as can seem, in comparison with Incoterms 1990 the insignificant quantity of variations is brought. Clearly, however, that Incoterms now are recognized all over the world and consequently the International chamber of commerce has decided to fix this recognition and to avoid variations for the sake of variations.

On the other hand, significant efforts for maintenance of clear and precise reflection of practice of commerce with the formulations used in Incoterms 2000 have been enclosed. Besides considerable changes have been brought in two areas: customs clearing and realization of customs payments under terms FAS and DEQ; duties on loading and unloading under term FCA.

All the variations essential and formal, have been made on the basis of careful researches among users Incoterms . The special attention has been given to the inquiries received since 1990 by Commission of experts Incoterms, organized as additional service for users Incoterms.
